This Saturday we had Olav's birthday party, he's 8 now. We were lucky with the weather, last year it snowed, but this year we went outside to have a treasure hunt. Later we decorated our own kites, don't know if the quality is that good that they will ever fly... But we had fun, that's the most important thing. And we had cake, no party without blowing the candles. Olav wanted a "sea life" theme this year, so the cake had an orka picture on it. Not sure how to tie the kite making to the sea life theme, but Olav was not bothered by it.
