Today I’m crying my eyes out. Feels like everybody is leaving Prague. One farewell party after another. This morning a farewell breakfast for 4 kids of Olav’s class, followed by having a farewell coffee with their mums, followed by an end of the year party with Nursery and Reception where we said goodbye to Leanne who is returning to Canada after being last year Lars’ teacher and this year Nils’. Two kids in Lars' class leaving, and Aska, so many families and teachers are leaving Riverside, it makes me feel sad. And four really good friends from the bible study group are moving, so that hurts. Then two good Dutch friends, we used to go for dinner once every 6 weeks to keep our Dutch updated with 2 other friends (luckily they stay). Today I totally do not like being an expat and having to say goodbye every time over and over again, not being able to build friendships that last longer than 2 years. But that’s my life for now…
