Yesterday we (the “Wednesday morning bible study ladies”) organized a baby shower for Desi’s beautiful 3 week old Tobias. Desi can join the “mum of 3 boys” club now (great club btw!). We had lots of fun with all the games Christine picked, she even bought prizes for the winners. The shower was also for her and Lucas, who is a little older than Tobias and has the most amazing blue/grey eyes I’ve seen in a long time (remember: I’m an optometrist, I’ve seen many eyes). Christine can join the “mum of 4 kids” club. We all brought a snack, and if we were giving prices for the best snack, Annette would have won that by far. She woke up an hour early to make fresh sushi for us, now that is special. We had a great time together.
