And here I’m, sitting on a terrific terrace in front of our apartment in Croatia. It’s almost dark, but the temperature is still very warm and because of the sea breeze there are almost no mosquito’s. Sounds about perfect isn’t it? Weren’t it for the fact that we’re still sick. After eating crackers for about 9 days in a row we cooked a decent meal. We all ate a little and decided we were better by now. So the next day (yesterday) we headed to a restaurant with a gorgeous sea view. Lars threw up on his way to the toilet, Olav threw up in the middle of the night. I had very tasty gamba’s, and some of the children’s pizza and a belly ache all evening. Lot of the time at least one of the boys is lying on bed, looking miserable. Instead of exploring the Island we spent lots of time at the apartment, sleeping and reading a lot. We go for a swim everyday, the water is so clear, the sun shines the whole day. It’s hot, so cooling off in sea is perfect. There are not really beaches, only a couple of rocky bays where everybody gathers. Another good thing is that I think the infection in my jaw is finally gone (after 7 weeks) and that’s something to be thankful for.
