Musical
Last week the kids played in the school musical. Every year that’s a big happening, they learn the songs weeks before, make costumes, go to the theater in a bus to practice on stage… Every class participates, and of course there are a few older pupils who do all the speaking parts. This year it was Jungle book, but with some songs from The Aristocats. Nursery (Nils’ class) is too young to be part of it, but reception (Lars’ class) was the snake Ka and year 2 (Olav’s class) were cats. It was so much fun to watch them doing their best, it was a lovely (great) performance. Romke’s parents and his brother were here, so they had the opportunity to see it as well. They are planning to make a dvd from the show, but while we’re waiting for that you can go and look at the blog of my friend Mary (link is at the right at this page). She has two girls, one in Nursery and one in Reception and she has posted the snake Ka performance. Lars is at the very end of the snake, in a green shirt. I’m sure it will be possible to import the movie to this blog, but I don’t know how and it will take me a long time to figure it out.
